Khao Wang Annual Fair. This fair is the biggest and most famous in town of Phetchaburi. It is held 10 days in summer each year, basically in April. The opening procession shows Phetchaburi's culturecul. Local entertainment in the fair includes spectacular colorful firework that lights up the sky at 9:00 pm every night, shops, food, products and verious merchandize, and games. Contact local listing and local tour agency for the date. Be prepared for the very warm and humid weather. Light clothe and water are really needed. However, you will be impressed by the local entertaining activities.
Banlad Bull Race: Annual Fair Event
Ox-cart and Bull Race Annual Event. This local competition is also an annual event held as a part of Phra Nakhorn Khiri Fair but the faor ground is located in Banlad District, five kilometers south of downtown Phetchaburi. Although it is exciting to see, the place is a little bit informally set up to welcome overseas tourists. Photographing the events during the day and night time could be fun. Come see how the local people can amaze you here. It is just in Phetchaburi, not anywhere else.

Row-Boat Race: Celebrating religious practice
Row-boat Race on the Phetchaburi River. This event is held around the period of ending the Buddhist lent around October, when to water is full and the moonsoon season is going to end. A two-day racing is held in downtown Phetchaburi and it is fun to watch. A light-and-sound shows in the evening telling Phetchaburi's historical legendary to spectators and guests.

Seafood Feast Festival: A Taste of Cha-am
Seafood Feast festival on Cha-am Beach is held annually around October, the time when rainy season is fading away and seafood is plenty. There are many things for tourists to enjoy. After relaxing on the beach doing many activities such as banana-boat ride, horse ride, enjoy Thai food menu from local mobile vendors, motorbike ride, beach massage, etc., more additional activities are specially offered; bird-watch in near-by sites, drinking Thai beers, and enjoy consert and shows. Highlight of the festival are having a variety of seafood freshly cooked and trying fishing squid with the fishermen on the boat and then grill and eat the catching fresh. These can be a fantastic night ever.

Thai International Kite Festival: Colorful Sky in Cha-am
Thai International Kite Festival in Cha-am at Phra Ram Hok (Rama VI Border-patrol Police Training Camp) This event is fun to watch or participate. Different kinds of beatiful kites and funny looks decorate the sky. Competition is very exciting. The visitors may enjoy sightseeing in the Marigdyavan summer palace and cycling to observe the conservation of mangrove eco-system conservation that is a part of this memorial park.

Thai Songdam Home-coming- Family Feast Festival: Ethnical Charm, Khao Yoi
On every Songkran Festival, Thai Songdam people from near-by provinces of Phetchabuir come home to Nongprong where the biggest origin of the ethnical community reside. The host give them food, then play music and all of them dance in their old-traditional style all night long. Traditional shows and activities can be observed. The gathering has been passed down to their young generations to conserve their ethnical identity and culture.
